An attractive Heuer Triple Calendar from the 1950's. This 33mm example of the Triple Calendar features two flush pushers on the side of the case, one at 8.30 which moves the date and the other at 10 which advances the month.
With sales starting to slow after an initial post-war boom, by the 1950's Heuer looked to expand sales by introducing a series of non-chronograph watches. Coinciding with their 90th Anniversary in 1950,they ran a series of advertisements showing what it called its mid-century models.
This particular Heuer Triple Calendar is powered by the manual wind Valjoux 90 housed in a 33mm case. The dial has taken on a lovely, even colour and finally the watch has been fitted with a black leather strap.
All in all an attractive, under-the-radar watch that is sure to find a new home soon!
