It really is hard to believe that this watch is 70 years old ,the case is so crisp and none of the angles have been rounded by polishing .The 33.5 mm French rose gold case with ornate scarab lugs holding the completely original champagne dial which is decorated with gold hour markers and Arabic numeral at quarters .The dial is signed Omega automatic and also fab Suisse.

This watch dates to c 1949/50 an era of class and sophistication and this watch oozes those qualities and is sure to attract interest when its worn today and its a piece that should be worn as its far to nice to just be sat in a safe for the next 70 years .

Rose gold would also have elevated this watch in the 1950s just as it does today as so few where made and this is a particularly solid case.
