A rare and attractive example of a personal favourite of ours, the Omega reference 2475. Accompanied by an Omega extract from the archives, which shows thewatch was originally delivered to Italy on July 21, 1955.
The was an oversize variant of the Omega reference 2463 which in turn would become the reference. ST101.005 in 1962.Powered by the legendary calibre 320 manual wind movement, the Omega reference 2475has to be one of our favourite chronographs from the 50's. It has it all; pedigree, performance, a perfect size and a dial that is timeless as it is elegant.
This particular example features an original dial is remarkable condition for its age, as is its case that continues to show sharp lugs and lack of major dints. It is fitted with a new black strap but can also be fitted with one of our other straps if preferred (one such example is shown in the latter photos). The movement has also received a full service and is running well, something I can attest to personally as I gave longer wrist time that I probably should before photographing it for sale!
